PURPOSE: Chitosan jelly with agar as a gelling agent is provided, thereby maximizing each efficacy of chitosan with different molecular weights, easily taking chitosan without rejection, and improving health of a user such as inhibition of lipid absorption, discharge of cholesterol and prevention of corpulence. CONSTITUTION: The chitosan jelly with agar as a gelling agent is prepared by dissolving chitosan in water to prepare a chitosan solution, and adding 0.1 to 5 wt.% of chitosan solution into an agar solution, wherein the chitosan is low molecular water-soluble chitosan with molecular weight of 1000 to 20000 dalton or high molecular chitosan with molecular weight of 20000 or more Dalton; the chitosan solution is a mixture of low molecular water-soluble chitosan and high molecular chitosan in a ratio of 1:1. |
