PURPOSE: A gravity water pump for pumping fluid with gravity is provided to pump fluid, and to gain potential energy from pumping fluid by applying pressure to fluid in a cylinder in moving down a piston and a switch by gravity when flowing falling fluid into the piston and the switch. CONSTITUTION: Balls and nets are mounted by putting packing on annular sills(5) in the inner walls of drain pipes connected to cylinders(2,2'), and the bottoms of pistons(10,10') are combined with the lower parts of switches(1,1'). Support bars(64,64') are combined with the upper parts of the switches, and side holes are bored in the lower parts of the switches. Water flow regulators(C,C') are installed by inserting shafts(58,58') to bearings(21,21'), and the pistons with U-packing are embedded in the cylinders. Strings are connected perforated holes of soft lids to holes of levers, and floating lids(62,62') are placed between the packing and protection nets. Hooks(57) of levers(56) are fitted to hooks(54) of shanks(26), and springs are mounted. Front and rear stings are suspended on pulleys(32,32') to suspend the pistons and the switches.
