METHOD FOR SETTING INTERFACE MODULE BY USING CLOCK SIGNALS AND APPARATUS THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for setting an interface module by using clock signals and an apparatus thereof are provided to simplify a synchronization procedure of a transmission method by grasping a transmission method of the other transmission system. CONSTITUTION: An interface module(11) receives clocks signals for transmission method synchronization between system from the other transmission system, and exchanges data information with the other transmission system. A clock extractor(13) extracts the clock signals for grasping the transmission method of another transmission system(20). A control unit(12) records the transmission method of another transmission system, and compares the recorded transmission method with a transmission method of a transmission system(10) of the control unit(12). If the transmission methods are not identical, the control unit(12) resets the interface module(11) to support the recorded transmission method. A storing unit(14) stores the transmission method of the other transmission system(20) at a certain storage area set by a manager.
