PURPOSE: A method for inputting Korean using the voice recognition and the IrDA(Infrared Data Association) is provided to input the Korean in a way that an infrared signal corresponding to each consonant and vowel of a word recognized by a voice recognizer is transmitted to a corresponding device if a user speaks the word. CONSTITUTION: A mapping terminal is written by learning the infrared signal corresponding to the consonant and the vowel(S2). The Korean word spoken from the user is recognized/converted into a string of the consonant and the vowel(S3). The string of the consonant and the vowel is converted into an information signal set string based on the mapping table, and is transmitted to an electronic device(S5).
