摘要 PURPOSE: Provided is an upflow filter using supersonic in separating suspended solid and coagulant from sand, thereby increasing separation efficiency of suspended solid and coagulant from sand, increasing quality of filtrate and allowing the sand filter to be recycled. CONSTITUTION: The filter comprises a treatment vessel(10) having a cylinder main body and a funnel portion provided at a lower end of the cylinder main body, a raw water inlet pipe(18) connected to a lower portion of the vessel(16), a sand collecting unit(11) installed at the bottom of the funnel portion, a bevel lamella installed in a lower portion of the vessel(10) for decreasing sand pressure to the sand collecting unit(11), a sand transporting pipe(13) connected to the sand collecting unit(11) at a lower end and extending up to a sand washing unit(14) installed at an entrance portion of the vessel(10), a corrugated pipe(15) coupled at a lower portion of the sand washing unit(14) for applying impulse to falling sand, a water level control unit(16a) installed around the sand washing unit(14), a suspended solid discharging pipe(16), a decant water discharging pipe(17) connected to an upper portion of the vessel(16), an ozone generator(20) for generating ozone, a compressor(21) for carrying the ozone generated by the ozone generator(20) to the sand transporting pipe(13) so as organic material to be oxidized and decomposed in the pipe(13), a supersonic waves generator(30) for applying supersonic to the sand transporting pipe(13) so as the decomposed organic material and coagulant to be separated from the sand in the pipe(13), and a supersonic generating bar(14) installed at the center of the corrugated pipe(15) for separating decomposed organic material and coagulant from the falling sand through the corrugated pipe(15).
