PURPOSE: A method for processing a data broadcasting file system is provided to insert an absolute path for reducing an overhead that searches a directory from a route with route directory information, thereby reducing an overhead of an interpretation process and improving a speed. CONSTITUTION: When a file request is received(S100), a file system interprets DSI(Digital Speech Interpolation) information(S110). The DSI information transmits route directory information, and decides whether an absolute path exists(S120). If so, the file system interprets from a route directory designated in the absolute path, and searches a requested file(S130). If the absolute path is empty, the file system interprets from an initial route directory, and if the designated absolute path exists, the file system interprets from a newly designated route. If the absolute path does not exist, the file system interprets from the initial route directory to search the requested file(S140).
