PURPOSE: A broadband distribution control fiber is provided to transmit optical signals of various wavelength bands to a remote place by controlling a position of a zero dispersion wavelength. CONSTITUTION: A broadband distribution control fiber includes an internal core, an external core, an internal clad, and an external clad. The internal core(101) has a diameter of d1 and a refractive index of n1. The external core(102) is formed around the internal core. The external core has the diameter of d2 and the refractive index of n2. The external core is surrounded by the internal clad(103). The internal clad has the diameter of d3 and the refractive index of n3. The internal clad is surrounded by the external clad(104). The external clad has the refractive index of n4. The diameters satisfy relations such as 0<=d1/d2<=0.8 and 0.1<=d2/d3<=0.5. The refractive indexes satisfy relations such as n1>n2>=n3>=n4, 0.0034<=(n1-n4)/n1<=0.007, 0<=(n2-n4)/n2<= 0.0048, and 0<=(n3-n4)/n3<=0.0014.
