摘要 PURPOSE: A flat panel display device is provided to allow for a superior electrical conduction between phosphor particles constituting a phosphor layer. CONSTITUTION: A flat panel display device comprises a first substrate; an electron emitting unit formed on the first substrate; a second substrate(4) spaced apart from the first substrate, wherein the second substrate cooperates with the first substrate so as to form a vacuum container; and a light emitting unit formed on the second substrate, and which emits light by the electrons emitted from the electron emitting unit. The light emitting unit includes an anode electrode(16) formed on the second substrate opposed to the first substrate; a phosphor layer(18) formed into a predetermined pattern on the anode electrode; and a conductive layer(20) made of a carbon-base material and formed on the phosphor layer.
