FIELD: electrical engineering; synchronizing relays affording automatic turn-on of synchronous generators. ^ SUBSTANCE: device has input voltage rectifier whose input is connected to supply voltage input; synchronized voltage rectifier whose input is connected to generator voltage input; first and second algebraic adders; first and second constant-factor multipliers; first and second inverters; first through fifth comparators, first comparator being made in the form of zero-threshold comparator; first and second final elements; input-voltage frequency meter; synchronized-voltage frequency meter; first through fifth AND gates; first and second square-pulse shapers; short-pulse train shaper; phase detector; integrating amplifier; low-pass filter; clock generator; first and second delay circuits; first and second pulse counters; memory register; and constant factor shaping unit; input and synchronized signal frequency meters function to convert input and synchronized signals in compliance with mathematical expression U0 = A0/f0, Us = As/fs, where U0 is signal at input of synchronized-voltage frequency meter; f0 is synchronized-voltage frequency; A0 and As are scale parameters proportional to amplitudes of input and synchronized voltages, respectively; input and synchronized voltage rectifiers function to convert voltage into values proportional to their amplitudes and equal to A0 and As, respectively; output of second pulse counter functions as synchronizing relay output. ^ EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. ^ 1 cl, 3 dwg |
