摘要 FIELD: medicine, purulent surgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: due to polarized microscopy of blood serum one should calculate the ratio for the total quantity of optically active textures in patient's blood serum against the quantity of optically active textures of healthy people. One should detect the index for structural alteration of blood serum by the following formula: ^ ^ where - total quantity of optically active textures detected in blood serum of certain patient, out of the following: confocal domains, liquid-crystalline lines, dendrites, skeletal dendrites, thin dendrites, acicular crystals, rhomboid and rectangular crystals, lenticular crystals, spherulites, spherudendrites; N - amount of optically active textures detected in blood serum of a patient being characteristic to blood serum in healthy people, out of the following: confocal domains, liquid-crystalline lines; and at index value being above one should evaluate severe state of a patient.
