PURPOSE: A method for automatically receiving a regional broadcast is provided to improve the convenience of user by automatically changing the reception frequency without the operation of the user. CONSTITUTION: A method for automatically receiving a regional broadcast includes the steps of: a first process(S101) of performing the initialization of the system when the power is inputted; a second process(S102) of determining whether the system is a radio mode or a tape driving mode; a third process(S104) of determining whether the radio is AM or FM when the result of S102 is the radio mode; a fourth process(S105) of determining whether the system is an automatic mode or a manual mode after the process S104; a fifth process(S109) of adjusting the reception frequency in response to the regional search when the result of S105 is the automatic mode; and a sixth process(S110,S111) of adjusting the regional and frequency in response to the user's operation of the button when the result of S105 is the manual mode.
