The incandescent pin plug for an internal combustion engine has a metal housing (3) and a coaxially running connecting bolt (5). Between the housing and the bolt is a ring-shaped sealing component (13), which seals the housing interior from the exterior. The sealing component locates with at least two edges on the inner surface (4) of the housing and on the outer surface (6) of the connecting bolt. The sealing component, for formation of the at least two sealing edges, has in cross-section at least four first circular areas arranged in pairs one above the other in the direction of a longitudinal axis (2) of the metal housing. It also has in cross-section at least two rectangular areas one above the other in the direction of a longitudinal axis of the metal housing. |
