A device (1) for application of adhesive film (I) on flat panel (16) comprises: (a) support(2) for retaining panel; (b) roller(3) for applying (I); (c) mobile support(4) for composite film, integral with roller in its axial displacement; (d) flexible line(5) provided with first and second fixing points (6,7), protective film links itself on first and second fixing points in order to form a loop around film support. A device (1) for application of adhesive film, from an initial composite film incorporating adhesive film and associated protective film, on flat panel (16) comprises: (a) support (2) for retaining panel; (b) axially mobile roller (3) for applying adhesive film; (c) mobile support (4) for composite film, integral with roller in its axial displacement; (d) flexible line (5) provided with first and second fixing points (6,7), protective film links itself on first and second fixing points in order to form a loop around film support. An Independent claim is also included for the application of an adhesive film on a flat panel, notably of glass, using this device.
