MONOCHROMATOR FOR SCANNING X-RAY ENERGY OF WIDE RANGE AND ACCURATELY CONVERTING POSITION OF MONOCHROMATOR CRYSTAL

PURPOSE: A monochromator is provided to rotation-regulate a crystal at small angle with 360 degrees by a drum and a rotary mechanism, to align precisely X-rays, and to perform X-ray analysis of a wide range with high reflection in a same energy range. CONSTITUTION: A monochromator is composed of a drum(11) for mounting a plurality of monoichromator crystals reflecting only X-rays with a specific wave length in a continuous X-ray; a drum rotating and driving unit(12) for supporting the drum and supplying driving force for rotating the drum; a structure rotating and driving unit(13) for supporting a structure comprising the drum and the drum rotating and driving unit and supplying driving force for rotating the structure; and a supporting unit(14) for totally holding up the drum, the drum rotating and driving unit, and the structure rotating and driving unit. The supporting unit comprises a strut(14s) positioned under the structure rotating and driving unit to fix the structure rotating and driving unit and a rowland sector(14r) arranged under the strut to support and fix the strut.
