PURPOSE: A speedometer of a vehicle is provided to improve driver's travel speed cognition by making an indicating pointer of the speedometer indicate different colors according to the travel speed and sensing the travel speed just by the colors. CONSTITUTION: A speedometer of a vehicle includes a numerical value plate(100) on which the minimum speed value and maximum speed value of the vehicle are indicated, and an indicating pointer(200) indicating different colors according to the travel speed of the vehicle and showing the speed value indicated on the numerical value plate. The speedometer further includes a speed section discrimination part(400) discriminating a speed section corresponding to the travel speed as different colors are given by predetermined multistage speed sections.
