An oil interface is envisaged by assuming that fluid displacement at all points is steady-state, and it is not deformed. The pressure field is determined on both sides of this interface. The interface is modified interactively, until the pressures on each side are equalized, at all points. Mean hydrodynamic properties are attributed uniformly to each zone of the medium delimited by each part of the interface, on reaching equilibrium. An a priori form of the interface is envisaged by assuming that fluid displacement at all points is steady-state, i.e. the velocity is constant, and there is no deformation of the interface. The pressure field is determined on both sides of this interface. The form of the interface is modified interactively, until pressures on each side of at least a part of it are equalized, at all points. Mean hydrodynamic properties are attributed uniformly to each zone of the medium delimited by each part of the interface, on reaching equilibrium.
