An electric connection component (4) for a fibrillation installation is made of an electrical conducting material and incorporates at least one contact surface (41a). At least the contact surface is coated with gold. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) an electrical connection device incorporating the above connection component; and (b) a fibrillation installation for delivering filaments, i.e. of glass, incorporating the above electrical connection device for heating the filaments.
