The indicator has a rotary counting wheel (10) with an indication unit indicating the number of distributed doses and cooperating with a visualization opening in a translation unit (20). The wheel has a hollow profile cooperating with a projection of the translation unit. The profile is such that the rotation of the wheel drives the translation and modifies the position of the translation unit relative to the wheel. An Independent claim is also included for a fluid product distribution device.
