STRUCTURE FOR ASSEMBLING METAL SHELL AND PLASTIC REINFORCEMENT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Assembling structure of a metal shell and a plastic reinforcement and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the weight, and to increase the rigidity by assembling the metal shell with the plastic reinforcement with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A metal shell(1) is connected to a base surface(1a), and a reinforcing rib(2) is formed in the metal shell. The metal shell is composed of the base surface, and neighboring surfaces(1b,1c). The rib is composed of a support part(2a) integrally connected to the base surface by the side and formed by bending the part of the base surface, and a plastic reinforcing member(2b) connecting the support part to the neighboring surfaces. The cutting plane is formed by cutting the base surface of the metal shell, and the support part is formed by bending the cutting plane into the metal shell. The plastic reinforcing member is combined with the support part and the neighboring surfaces through injection-molding.
