PURPOSE: A disposal and storage equipment is provided to prevent the number of take-in and out ports of an automatic warehouse from increasing without changing the position of the take-in and out ports and to reduce load related to a crane. CONSTITUTION: A disposal and storage equipment is composed of an automatic warehouse(1), a plurality of disposal devices(2A¯2G), and a conveying device(3) for conveying articles(K) between the warehouse and the disposal device. The automatic warehouse comprises a rack(5A) having cubically storage-receiving divided parts(4) and a crane(7) for moving and taking in and out the articles between the racks. The disposal devices are arranged and mounted at the proper intervals along the correspondent rack at the opposite side where the crane is positioned. The conveying device has a traveling body(17) for conveyance for running on a traveling path(16) formed along the rack between the rack of the automatic warehouse and the disposal device. Take-in and out ports(10,11) for receiving and delivering the articles by the crane are installed adjacently to the traveling path of the traveling boy. An article transfer unit(18) for receiving and delivering the articles between each disposal device and the take-in and out ports is installed at the traveling body for conveyance.
