PURPOSE: A system and a method for offering a problem parameter adjusting/measuring service using an update algorithm are provided to update the particulars of a problem by considering an exposure degree of each problem according to time and a right answer ratio of each examines, and measure the parameter of each updated problem in real-time. CONSTITUTION: An exposure frequency counter(121) checks an exposure frequency of each problem by confirming a final mark and the right answer ratio of each problem in a problem bank database(500). A problem selector(122) selects the problem needing the problem parameter correction depending on the exposure frequency. A problem parameter updater(123) updates one from difficulty, discrimination, and presumption of the selected problem. A problem parameter measurer(124) periodically and repeatedly measures the updated parameter of each problem depending on the right answer ratio and the final mark of each examinee. A problem parameter service provider(125) provides the measured parameter and the related information to a client.
