PURPOSE: A moxa ball for moxibustion is provided to enable the moxa peak to be easily formed without using a glue like flour, to remarkably reduce or remove smoke when burning, to generate a large quantity of far infrared rays and anion by an intense heat in addition to the effect of fumigation, thereby giving the profitable effects to health of a human body. CONSTITUTION: The moxa ball for moxibustion comprises steps of heating dried wormwood contained in a ceramic container and sealed with clay at the temperature of 600¯1000 deg.C cooling the wormwood and crushing the solid carbide in the sealed container to get wormwood charcoal powder; mixing the wormwood charcoal powder of 10¯20wt% by addition of ordinary dried wormwood of 60¯70wt%, hardwood charcoal powder of 10¯20wt and yellow soil powder of 5¯10wt% containing water of 5¯15wt%; pressing the mixture by a molding frame with the pressure of 150¯200ton(Mt); and molding the moxa ball body(1) including a triangle projection(2) in a radial shape and a trumpet-shaped airing hole(3). |
