PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simple, safe, and inexpensive rotary balance correction method and apparatus of a forming mold or the like since no optimum manufacturer's machines are available and investment risk is high for the correction of rotary balance in the forming mold or the like that is subjected to rotary supporting by taper holes while used rotation is at a low-speed region. SOLUTION: In a pair of the taper holes (h) being provided at a rotary center of both the sides of an object 5 to be measured, the object 5 to be measured is pinched horizontally so that it can be rotated by a pair of bearing mechanisms consisting of a taper boss. A rotary position, where a balance stop position becomes the same by rotation and rocking is searched for, and a balance load is applied to the highest section of the rotation. The load is applied repeatedly until the balance state, where the balance rotation stop position becomes unspecific, is reached, thus determining a correction load and a correction position for balance correction.
