PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notifying device for Web page updating capable of immediately presenting whether or not update notification of a Web page is possible. SOLUTION: The Web page update notifying device is provided with a communication part 104 carrying out send and receive of HTTP, an HTTP response analyzing part 106 analyzing response of the HTTP received by the communication part, a Web page analyzing part 105 carrying out analysis of the Web page acquired from the communication part, an update notification object setting part 101 for setting one or more update notification object Web pages, an update notification possibility determining part 103 determining whether or not update notification of the update notification object page is possible on the basis of an HTTP response analysis result and a Web page analysis result, and an update notification possibility presenting part 108 presenting an update notification determination result by the update notification possibility determining part to a user when setting an update notification object.
