PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of preventing leakage of air of a butterfly door for opening/closing two adjacent air passages in an air conditioning case to the mutually contrary opening/closing state. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner for a vehicle, two air passages are provided in adjacent in the air conditioning case 1 and the butterfly door 10 for opening/closing the air passages to the mutually contrary opening/closing state is arranged. A turning shaft of the butterfly door 10 is formed as a partial cylindrical shaft part 13 having an axially notched part of the cylinder. A partial cylindrical bearing part 14 having an axially notched part of the cylinder is formed on a partition wall 15 in the air conditioning case 1. An outer peripheral part of the partial cylindrical shaft part 13 of the butterfly door 10 is fitted and pivotally supported in the partial cylindrical bearing part 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
