PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel joint structure for a vehicle body certainly preventing leak of water through a joint surface of panel members. SOLUTION: In the panel joint structure, of the first panel member 21 and the second panel member 22 joined by spot welding by superposing flange parts, a stepped part 25 continuously extending along the flange part 23 is formed on an inner surface of a base part of one flange part 23 avoiding a hit point of the spot. The inside the stepped part 25 is coated with a spot sealer 19 for sealing a gap between the flange parts. Thereby, the sealing is carried out at a point avoiding the hit point of the spot welding and the spot sealer 19 is not melted by heat of the spot welding. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
