A delivery device for and method of delivering substance to a subject, in particular a nasal delivery device for delivering a substance to a subject through nasal mucosa in a nasal cavity of the subject, the delivery device comprising: a nozzle for delivering a particulate aerosol containing a substance to nasal mucosa in the nasal cavity; and a substance supply unit actuatable to supply substance to the nozzle; wherein at least a fraction of the particles of the aerosol has a dimension and velocity such as to penetrate through the nasal mucosa. |
