PURPOSE: A field emission display device is provided to inject electrons emitted from one emitter to a desired fluorescent material without a spreading phenomena. CONSTITUTION: A field emission display device comprises a first plate, a plurality of gate electrode(6) formed with a predetermined pattern on the first plate, an insulating layer formed on the first plate and which covers the gate electrodes, a plurality of cathode electrode(10) formed with a predetermined pattern on the insulating layer, a plurality of emitter(12) arranged at a pixel territory set up on the first plate and contacted electrically to the cathode electrodes, a plurality of counter electrode(14) arranged on the insulating layer with a predetermined space from the emitter and connected electrically to the gate electrode, a second plate for forming a vacuum vessel with the first plate, and which is spaced apart from the first plate, an anode electrode formed at one side of the second plate, and a fluorescent layer formed with a predetermined pattern on the anode electrode.
