<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator for a hood jumping-up device capable of securing long causing no buckling, nor a long storing length. <P>SOLUTION: In this actuator for the hood jumping-up device, a telescopic pipe 3 extendable in an axial direction is constituted by mutually slidably fitting a plurality of tapered pipes 31 to 35. An inflator 10 is disposed inside the telescopic pipe 3 to elongate the telescopic pipe 3 by injecting high pressure gas. Brackets 4 and 5 are mounted at upper and lower ends of the telescopic pipe 3. A fabric extendable seal cylinder 6 surrounding the telescopic pipe 3 is mounted between the brackets 4 and 5 at the upper and lower ends. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
