MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR SHEETLIKE ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of molding a molded sheet not having warpage or distortion caused by the temperature difference between the upper and rear surfaces of the molded sheet immediately after passed through the nip between molding rolls and capable of manufacturing the sheetlike article enhanced in dimensional precision.

SOLUTION: A resin composition is extruded from an extruder 1 to be molded into a sheetlike shape by the molding rolls 3 and the molded sheet 4 is cooled and cured to manufacture the sheetlike article. The molded sheet 4, of which the upper and rear surfaces are different in temperature, immediately after passed through the nip between the molding rolls 3 is cooled so that the temperatures of both surfaces of the molded sheet 4 become almost the same before the temperature of the molded sheet 4 drops to a softening point.
