PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image management system or the like capable of using taken image data at any time and any place. SOLUTION: The terminal device registers image data acquired by photographing, scanning, a recording medium or the like in the image management server 101. An output requesting-side terminal device selects the image data registered in the image management server 10 and an output executing-side terminal device. The image management server 101 transmits the image data to the output executing-side terminal device, and the output executing-side terminal device performs the printing output of the image data. The terminal device performs confirmation of the image data registered in the image management server 101, transmits, on receipt of a user's instruction (change in the registered content, elimination of registration, etc.), that effect to the image management server 101. The image management server 101 performs processing on the basis of the instruction.
