PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid blocking of a toner print layer of a backlight display panel having the toner print layer printed on a substrate, to suppress warping deformation of the backlight display panel, and to reduce the internal stress of the toner print layer. SOLUTION: The backlight display panel comprises a light-transmissive substrate 11, a toner print layer 12 formed by printing toner on the rear side of the substrate 11, and a light-transmissive protection layer 13 provided on the rear side of the substrate 11 in close contact with the toner print layer 12 so as to cover the toner print layer 12, and a light guide plate 20 which emits light from a light source 40 and transmissively illuminates the substrate 11 is brought into contact with the rear side of the protection layer 13, and the protection layer 13 is formed of a UV-hardening epoxy resin having coefficient of curing shrinkage≤5% when the light guide plate 20 is made of an acrylic resin.
