PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display in which a bezel tape can be made thinner and adhesive strength can be more secured. SOLUTION: While a screen display area of a liquid crystal cell is exposed, a surface-side edge of the liquid crystal cell is covered with a top bezel. The reverse surface side of the liquid crystal cell is covered with a reverse bezel. On the inner surface of the insulating base material 42 of the bezel tape 41 connecting the top bezel and reverse bezel together, conductive metal paste 43 is printed. On the inner surface of the base material 42 except the metal paste 43, an insulating adhesive 44 is printed. The metal paste 43 is printed thicker than the adhesive 44 to project. The metal paste 43 electrically connects the top bezel and reverse bezel together for electric continuity. Insulating property outside the bezel tape 41 can be secured by the base material 42. An insulating film need not be stuck on the outer side of the bezel tape 41. Further, the adhesive 44 need not contain conductive metal particles. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
