PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide reduction gears or a driving device for a transfer crane capable of reducing weight and costs and miniaturizing and having excellent operation property in, in particular, low speed running. SOLUTION: These reduction gears G for the transfer crane used to drive the transfer crane for loading and unloading a container are provided with a hypoid pinion 108 rotated by rotation power inputted from a motor M side and a hypoid gear 110 meshing with the hypoid pinion 108.
