PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic inflatable fence and a fence unit suitable for the constitution of the fence allowing the use of a light airplane like a helicopter for work. SOLUTION: This automatic inflatable fence is formed of a chain of a plurality of automatic inflatable fence units 1 having air-bladders 3 and inflating means 4, connected at the respective side edge parts 2. The air-bladder is provided with a mounting part 5 for the inflating means; an inflow port 7 connected to an outflow port 6 of the inflating means; and a deaeration valve 8. The inflating means is provided with a gas cartridge 9 and a water sensor automatic starting type unsealing device 10 for the gas cartridge. The air-bladder of the normal type is inflated by feeding gas and floats on the water surface. The air-bladder becomes flat by venting and can be folded or wound in a rod shape.
