PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder injector for improving the efficiency of discharging powder and work chips by eliminating restriction on the setting of pressure for a second compressed fluid. SOLUTION: This powder injector injects powder 2 from a nozzle 4 by a first compressed fluid F1 supplied from the upstream end of a powder passage 7 by communicating and connecting a powder supply tank 3 with and to the powder passage 7 connected with the nozzle 4, and is provided with a fluid pressure control means 20 for intermittently injecting the powder 2 from the nozzle 4 by variably controlling fluid pressure P2 of the second compressed fluid 2 according to fluid pressure P1 of the first compressed fluid F1 by communicating and connecting a compressed fluid passage 8 for supplying the second compressed fluid F2 with and to the powder passage 7.
