APPARATUS FOR STRENGTHENING GRINDING POWER OF FORAGE MAT MAKER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the grinding strength while preventing inoperability with clogging of pasture grass by increasing the number of grinding treatment steps of the pasture grass and gradually pressurizing and crushing the pasture grass into a state of a mat. SOLUTION: An apparatus for strengthening grinding power of a forage mat maker is composed by axially supporting a driving bottom roller 10 at the rear of a pickup mechanism 9 and arranging a transport driving roller 12 and press rollers 13 and 15 opposite to the outer periphery thereof. The apparatus is obtained by arranging a forming roller 18 pressurizing and crushing the pasture grass and forming the pasture grass into the form of the mat at the rear of the transport driving roller 12 and press rollers 13 and 15 on the outer periphery of the driving bottom roller 10 and installing a transport/discharge conveyor 20 transporting the formed forage mat and discharging the formed forage mat onto a field surface under the forming roller 18. The transport driving roller 12 and press rollers 13 and 15 are axially supported by a movable frame 11. Furthermore, the movable frame 11 is pivoted so as to be movable in the direction to approach and separate the outer peripheries of the transport driving roller 12 and press rollers 13 and 15 relatively to the outer periphery of the driving bottom roller 10.
