<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator which is made to hardly roll even when the outside diameter of a vessel main body is larger than the diameter of a cap, without enlarging a projection length of a clip of the cap. <P>SOLUTION: The applicator has an application tip disposed in the front of a rod-shaped vessel and the cap having the clip and being shaped like a bottomed tube and removable is provided for protecting the application tip. The applicator has a form wherein the outside diameter of the vessel is larger than that of the cap and wherein the clip of the cap projects in the direction of the outside diameter from the outside diameter of the vessel.
