<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of establishing a high printing quality stably regardless of the size of the roll diameter of a roll-form recording sheet by conducting a high effect curl correction even if the roll sheet is of such a nature that its winding tendency is likely to remain, for example a coated paper of laminated structure or a cardboard. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device is composed of a roll accommodation part to accommodate a continuous recording sheet wound in a roll shape, a sheet transport part to transport the recording sheet from its accommodation part, a cutting part to cut the fed sheet into the desired size, an image formation part to form a toner image on the sheet, a fixation part to make hot fixation of the sheet whereon the toner image is formed, a cooling part to cool the sheet having undergone the fixing process, and a curl correction part to correct the curl of the sheet when it is cooled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
