PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for metal-plate heat lamination excellent in heat bondability and formability. SOLUTION: The polyester film for metal plate covering is heat bondable and is prepared by compounding at least two polyesters different in crystallinity. When the film is heated to its melting point or higher, kept at that temperature for at least 60 sec, and rapidly cooled, the dynamic friction coefficient between one surface (A surface) of the film and steel balls of a bearing is 0.30 or lower.
