PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that an image quality improvement ink is not reflected on a colorimetric patch becoming an object of colorimetric work when a color transformation table is made. SOLUTION: An image quality improvement ink is reflected on a colorimetric patch at a stage for printing the colorimetric patch and a colorimetric patch reflecting the image quality improvement ink is subjected to colorimetry. Correspondence between the color component values of RGB and the ink values of CMYKlclm and the image quality improvement ink is then defined thus making a color transformation table with high precision when the quality improvement ink is used.
