PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make precisely and quickly performable reserved video recording for a broadcast program. SOLUTION: Program identification information is extracted concerning a reserved channel whose video recording will start earlier out of data on video recording reservation (#2). Reserved video recording is started (#6), when duplicate signals are detected seven times in a row, if the identification information is a VPS (video programing system). When the duplicate signals are detected three times in a row, if it is a PDC (personal digital cellular) (#3) and when it agrees with the data of the video recording reservation (#4), video-recording operation is finished (#10), when pieces of program recognition information extracted during the reserved video recording operation do not agree extending over a plurality of times (#9).
