<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector connecting a circuit board to a mate connecting member, having a contact with improved durability with an elongated spring length, capable of heightening a contact reliability of contacts in contacting with each other for shortening of an electric path. <P>SOLUTION: The electric connector 1 has an insulating housing 10 and the contact 20 fitted to the housing 10, connected to a circuit board PCB and contacting with the mate connection member B. The contact 20 is formed by punching a metal plate and applying it with a bending process, and has two positively bent parts 26, 28 and a inversely bent part 27 jointing the positively bent parts 26, 28.
