<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and convenient system since a key and an ID card are used to enter/leave a significant spot and to manage locking of a safety box however the key or the ID card is left or lost occasionally and security is not sufficient, either. <P>SOLUTION: Each time a user enters/leaves a significant spot, the user uses the portable information terminal equipment that is spread individually to photograph a telephone number and user's own face and looks for extracting features. A personal identification apparatus is provided in the significant spot such as the safety box and has data in which information on persons who ordinarily use the significant spot is stored and registered. The features are sent from the portable terminal to the personal identification apparatus by using weak radio wave Bluetooth(R), IrDa and confirmed in the personal identification apparatus, thereby unlocking the safety box. The management method can be applied not only to the use of room or safety box but also to various aspects all over the town such as ticket examination in the station.
