PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new positive charge type electrostatic charge image developing toner capable of forming a fog-free good image of higher image density in spite of externally added metallic soap particles and capable of more satisfactorily preventing sticking of toner particles, etc., to a surface of a photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The positive charge type electrostatic charge image developing toner is obtained by surface-treating metallic soap particles with a silane compound and externally adding the surface-treated particles to positive charge type toner particles.
