PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide an electronic part having a polarity terminal thickened to indicate a polarity. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic acoustic converter 1 includes a base 24 formed of a magnetic material, a core 22 formed of the magnetic material and stood on the base 24, a diaphragm 20 formed of the magnetic material and supported via an air gap from the distal end of the core, a magnetic circuit constituted together with the base 24, the core 22 and the diaphragm 20, a magnet 25 for supplying a magnetostatic field, a coil 23 disposed on the periphery of the core to supply a vibrating magnetic field to the magnetic circuit, a coil bobbin 30 for holding the coil 23, and lead terminals 41, 42 for energizing. The lead terminal 42 is constituted of a sleeve 51 as the polarity terminal 50. The polarity terminal 50 is a terminal obtained by engaging the sleeve 51 of a substantially C shaped cylindrical member formed of a metal of a solder plated copper wire, etc. at the lead terminal 42 of a positive terminal.
