PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of radiation image conversion panel which does not cause creases on a protection film for preventing oxidation or humidifying and is capable of surely and easily sealing a stimulable phosphor layer, and to provide a radiation image conversion panel capable of being used concurrently in highly sealed and in proper conditions for a long time. SOLUTION: The radiation image conversion panel has a support body, a stimulable phosphor layer formed on the support body and a protective film for covering and sealing the stimulable phosphor layer and is provided with a frame fixing the protective film on the support body. The support body has a phosphor layer forming part, forming the stimulable phosphor layer on the one side and a step difference, surrounding the phosphor layer formation part.
