FINISHING AGENT FOR SYNTHETIC FIBER AND METHOD FOR FINISHING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finishing agent sufficiently suppressed in scattering or coming off synthetic fibers even in their high-speed traveling, thus giving high-quality synthetic fiber filament yarns, and to provide a method for finishing the synthetic fibers with the agent. SOLUTION: The finishing agent for synthetic fibers comprises a total of≥70 wt.% of the following three components: 3-30 wt.% of a specific hydroxy compound with one terminal blocked with a 9C acyclic branched saturated hydrocarbon group, 40-96 wt.% of a lubricant and 0.1-10 wt.% of an antistatic agent.
