PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for giving a photocurable composition in a good productivity which has an optically excellent transparency and contains superfine particles in such a state that the secondary agglomeration is unusually reduced. SOLUTION: The photocurable composition comprises silica particles composed of a hydrolyzate of an oligomer of an alkoxysilane, a resin monomer and/or oligomer containing a photopolymerizable functional group, and a silane coupling agent.
