摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing the concentration of Pt in magnetic garnet crystals when obtaining the magnetic garnet crystals by a liquid phase crystal growth method. SOLUTION: In the process for obtaining a magnetic garget film or the like by a liquid phase crystal growth method using a platinum vessel as a solution holding material and a solution which does not comprise platinum to a degree exceeding inevitable impurity concentration, for always suppressing the platinum concentration in the solution in the process of crystal growth to the saturation concentration or lower, a part of the vessel is forcedly cooled, and Pt eluted from the Pt vessel is continued to be precipitated on the cooling part, so that the platinum concentration in the solution on the crystal growth is retained to <1 mass%.
